One of our clients, a property rental management company, asked us to quote for the cleaning one of their properties after
a rental contract had terminated.
The property was in a terrible state. Toilet and bath were severely stained and the kitchen was covered in black fat and had
a cockroach infestation. Elsewhere there was evidence of frequent rodent pollution.
The client had resigned themselves to redecoration and complete replacement of the utilities - in particular a complete strip
and replacement of the kitchen. Cost for replacement was expected to be in the region of £3,000.
Our quoted price was well under a third of the replacement cost and we were duly handed the contract.
Over a period of 3 days, we deep cleaned every utility, in many cases dismantling, cleaning and reassembling to produce the
required standard.
Finally we removed all insect and rodent infestations and redecorated the most severely stained walls.
The client was delighted with the work, saving over £2,000 on the anticipated costs and the property was re-rented shortly
afterwards.
